Brisbane and Gold Coast are the only lists I would take other than Fremantle.

Jumping on a plane every 2nd week and clocking up all those kms is the only thing that stops them from being top 4.

Need to mentally harden up and they will be in flag contention.

Must make semi finals at a minimum or Longmuir must go.

NPC coach bereft of ideas if plan A fails, no obvious gameplan beyond hoping the twin towers mark the rushed high ball.

Undersized 1 paced midfield, Young injury prone, Serong cant cope with a hard tag, too much left to Brayshaw

Suspect defence, Pearce injury prone and a poor captain

Forward line stacked with talent that goes missing far to often, seem to lack cohesion

Losing an elimination final to Fold Coast at home was just deplorable, missing finals in 24 was horrid.

Must make top two and make a prelim to pass. Fortuntely have a wide open girthy window given the age profile.
Twin Towers? We've played with three key forwards for a whole season.

Inclined to agree. Fremantle faces systemic disadvantages (biggest travel burden along with WCE, no built-in academy advantage like QLD teams get, weak father son pipeline, lack of games at MCG) that make things harder for them to succeed, but overall they do have a very strong squad and should be aiming for top 4 this year.

There's little weakness in their projected lineup for this year. Their tall defenders could be better (Ryan's defensive impact will further decline imo, McDonald is okay at best) and I'm not entirely convinced by their outside runners, but no team is "perfect". Brisbane and Gold Coast are probably the only sides that are clearly more stacked than Fremantle.

I think Prelim is the target this year. Given all they've invested in the draft over the last 6-8 years, and the price paid at the trade table for Jackson, Bolton and to a lesser extent Clarke and McVee, there's no reason they wouldn't be in win-now mode

Winning finals - make a Prelim.

Pretty much the expectation across the board I suspect, from the club itself, their fans, the media and the rest of us.

Primed to do it really.

Freo are very good, but until they start beating the big Vic clubs away from home consistently, they will always struggle and fail to live up to their promise. I reckon we'll know where there at by the end of April. On May1 they play the Dogs away and if things go the way they should they could be playing for top spot?

It’s looking like a big ask for anyone to beat the dogs right now
