Yep 2010 onwards. Neale and pearce are chances

How many picks has the current drafting team had that were pick 12 or less? The bulk of those awards are players who were drafted or traded for with picks in that region (Pav, Hase, McPharlin, Bell, Palmer).

Aaron Sandilands was a good pick as a rookie, as was Michael Johnson. But...

That same recruiting team also drafted Dan Parker, James Walker, Daniel Schell, Marcus Drum, Leigh Brown, Ryley Dunn, Ryan Murphy, Clayton Collard, Clayton Hinkley, Joel Houghton. These may be viewed in retrospect as "bad decisions".

Tell me since 2009 draft who will be All Australian. Not including 2009

It's pointless speculating like it actually means anything. You wouldn't have thought Sandi was going to be a multiple AA 4 years into his career.

It's a stupid metric to be so hung up on anyway. McPharlin was one of the best backmen of his generation and he received a total of one AA at age 30.

I disagree. It's easy. I think Tucker, Balic, Blakely, Weller, Langdon, Apeness, A Pearce , Neale, Sheridan, Crozier will make AA before the end of their careers.

Come back in 10 years and let me know who I got right.

Dan Parker not taken in Draft
Leigh Brown 200 plus games
James Walker the most games of any pick 6 in draft

Agree some of the others were poor

point is you all hang shit but none of you put balls on line .

Who will be all australian

I thought booty just didn't like Yello Mit and his Then and Now thread.

Wrong again. 14 of the 22 were recruited since Lloyd and co were put in place.
Incorrect Phil Smart was the National Draft Manager up to the end of the 2009 season. Brad LLoyd was appointed as list manager in 2008 but Smart had final say in draft up to end of 2009. Once Smart left Lloyd took over Drafting as well.

Since Smart left at end of 2009 and recruiting has been based in Victoria with Lloyd in charge of the lot it has been a farce.

Just ask the staff based at Freo HQ
