We went utterly bunta, banged 'em on, in front of the Heatley Stand. A half of football I had not seen, Bomba, Alex, little Rod Ashman, Dominator and the gang.......turned it on, and we won by under 3 goals.

Percy Jones, lost his cracker bag that day.

Remember it clearly. That bow-legged **** must've run about 30-40m to smash into Jezza who had his eyes fixed on the ball and no idea what was coming.

It's probably when I lost faith in the good old shirt front being a good part of the game. Having Rhys-Jones run around for us in the 80's helped restore it - though some of hits made me cringe a bit.

Dont need to own it... there is just Kouta ripping apart the last quarter and Dog's tackle... everything else is a blur... add in the fact we beat the scum in red and black and you just never forget it.

As an aside... does the Scum getting pinged for cheating the salary cap in '93 also mean that Long's Norm Smith was achieved through cheating?
