How has this kid's pre-season form been and will he take a spot in the Swans Starting 22? if not, is he a good chance to make his debut early in the season?

We know very little, all that was mentioned that he had a slow start to the pre season due injuries last year, and that was from commentators. Its a shame we get very little news from our web page..
Generally first year draftees dont appear in the seniors in their debut year.

Don't expect to see him anytime soon. He got unjured during the TAC Cup Finals last year and has had an interupted pre season. Hasn't played a competitive game as yet. All things going well we may see him later on in the year.

There are prbably a handful of players that have warranted senior selection on the basis of their pre-season form, but because Patty Vesz didn't play any of these games, I have no idea.

I'm thinking of turning up to a reserves game just so I can get a look of how he plays, and how the othwer recruits play.

It's a setback that he didn't get to play this season, but his injury seemed bit more niggly than it looked, i think..

Had a sensational last 6 or so matches for the Knights in the TAC did Patty. He'll be a great player for the Swans, either in the midfield, or as a FP.

I guess I should of campaigned to the club instead of just on Big Footy about the virtues of drafting Rioli

I was gutted that we didn't take him when he was still available.

The wraps about his skill and class before the draft were loud and considering the injuries he carried through the Australian underage titles he performed brilliantly.

I really thought that we needed the disposal and evasive skills, pace, and brilliance of an absolute gun indiginous player.

Probably lucky for him that we didn't draft him as he might of rotted away in the Canberra league

Perhaps because of the "puppy fat" that he was carrying the Swans must of thought that he would take after Dean and not Maurice.

If Sheedy had'nt of been retired from Essendon then the Bombers would surely have taken him at 6.

Reality is that it might take 3 or 4 years before we get the full picture on who was the best choice rather than just a few NAB cup games
