The answer is simple. We are playing lamentable footy whilst the Pies are playing good footy but nowhere near as good as Essendon.
I have to admire the way players such as Clements and Holland who were erratic and poor players at Freo have developed into handy Pies guys. It speaks volumes for Malthouse and the imprtance of a good coach.

btw...beat Essendon in the GF and I'll cheer for you
