Pathetic season.
Pathetic hunger for the game.
Pathetic skills.

Injurys hurt granted, but as has been the case for the majority of the season and definitely recently, the players look slack, uninterested and passionateless.
2005 and is just another year in a long line of seasons that have been a disapointment as a freo supporter.
Where to from here? Same oll bull******** I am predicting....

"-Insert name here- boom recruit for freo"
More draft picks for the next big thing etc........

At least we made em earn it. Would've loved to keep our season alive with at the very least a draw though.

Pavlich, well, he's just an out and out gun :)

I'm happy. We found some form and hopefully played ourselves out of a slump.
this comment is the reason why we will never be succesful. we lost, granted it was a good comeback but we lost AGAIN.too many people are happy when we don't even win. that is what the game is about, that is why you go to the football. not for any other reason...... oh well

Good finish, but doesnt the silly turnovers resulting in goals and mistakes kicking out from goal make you sick!

There was a needed win just ********ed away by poor skills and decision-making!

Pav, what can you say! Absolute champion !

Unfortunately I agree. Like when we cheered after the EF, if we continue to except mediocricy we won't be successful. Absolutley great heart shown by the guys but still 7 points short of being happy!

Applauding the comeback is not accepting mediocrity, because that game was anything but. It was sheer embarrassment to start with, and near brilliance to end. You may think that evens out to mediocre, but I'd prefer to analyze it as a tale of 2 halves.

If they continued to play that way they should be rightfully hammered, but to run out the game like that with all of the top 22 players we have out (including the majority of our backline, plus polak playing forward) has to be shown some appeciation, confidence is something we are well down on, and after the 2nd half, confidence should be nutured rather than further hammered.

The first half was like 1995 all over again, the only thing missing was:
Clinton Wolf , Gary Dhurrkay, Phil Gilbert and Jay Burton.

Gary Dhurrkay = Scotty Thornton
Phil Gilbert = Josh Carr
Jay Burton = Graham Polak

But Clinton Wolf is iireplaceable.

I;m not applauding the second half but if you don't think the idea that our team went from having zero confidence in the first half to having a bit of belief in the second wasn't a positive then you can all go jump.

I'm still not happy but it may be something to build on.

To me it looked like they were missing leadership from their captain early , but a few blokes stepped up and led the way and most of the rest followed.

Once we started kicking a few goals the confidence levels soared and the errors decreased.

Lets hope we can start next week the way we finished this week.

I can't see the part of the equation where your bitching and moaning equals 4 points.

We've tried berrating and belittling the team after a loss, hasn't resulted in wins. Perhaps making the youngsters think they can win a game by what they showed in the 2nd half will.

Or maybe not. Shrug.

Your coach is CC until 2007.

We were extremely unlucky not to win this game. Had we pulled this off, many of would have been back on the CC bandwagon as the best thing since slice bread.

Two games out of the 8 with 8 games to go and I think a few people are going to regret, some of thier negative views. Rolling the Bulldogs this week puts us one game out of the 8.
