seeing as we picked up mills instead with our 3rd pick that year, in hindsight we should have taken him.

Patrick caught the eye at the under-16 championships but didn't really go on with it and wasn't a stand out at under-18 level.

We thought pick 39 was too pricey for him. We were going to get him late but once he was gone picked up Ty Zanuck instead.

The knock against Patty is that he is not a genuine CHF / FF in the way that Benny Gale was or that Shane Morrison tries to be. Patty is more of a decoy forward who comes down past the wing and tries to drag his opponent away from the 50 metre arc.

Also despite being in his 5th year and allready 23 he has yet to cement a place in the Dogs line-up. He has only really had one good season.

He's rocking around getting 12 touches per game and kicking 1.5 goals per game.

Another mediocre player who won't help our cause one bit.

Might as well bring back Adam Houlihan.
