Saw him named for the Doggies for tomorrow clash. Brought back memorys of him cutting up Luke Mcpharlin last year in a VFL game, was very impressed at the time and sort of thought he might have been in the side earlier than this.

Good luck to him for his career, always like to keep an lookout for blokes that you pick (even from other clubs) as 'ones to watch'.

Question to Doggies fans though, has he bulked up? As that was really the only query i had on him last year.

Cheers.

Grendel,

I think that game last year would have been in the first round of finals and he kicked 7.

Anyway, I hadn't seen him again until Saturday where he kicked 5.3 for Werribee and was arguably the difference between them and Springvale.

He seemed fairly well built to me but I was paying more attention to our listed players on the other team. The dogs fans will know more but in my opinion I'm not surprised that he got a game this week.

He played when Richmond went up against the Doggies early on this year in a praccy.

I paid attention to him - seeing if he was the one we let get away - and he seemed to find the ball OK and had good skills. Even then, though, I thought he looked a little skinny. I don't know if he has packed on any weight since?

If he is any good, maybe we should arrange a trade to bring him on home! Say Daffy for him in a straight swap!

He definitely is a likely type. He's kicked 10 goals the past 2 weeks...probably had a slow start to the season but has strung some great games together and deserves his chance. He's a really strong mark and has definitley bulked up since last year.

GOOD LUCK BOWDO
GO DOGGIES!!!!

I stood up & took notice of Bowden when he kicked 7 last year, it's pleasing to see him play his first game tonight, obviously Terry Wallace didn't look to give him much of a go tonight- but just like our new kid Riewoldt- I would expect Bowden to find his feet in the coming weeks & develop into a handy player!
