Didn't mean to cast Geelong as the next Carlton, but just comparing them to the Crows, and at present, I'd say Adelaide is ahead of Geelong.

But also remains to be seen what impact Danger leaving Adelaide has on them, and vice versa at Geelong.

If you guys score Selwood, Henderson, you'll be competitive at the very least.
Adelaide aren't ahead of us, we will and should comfortably sit above them next year.
Not only are they losing their best player but we are gaining him. Unfortunately they right now don't have a coach so will again need to adjust. Walsh will be difficult to replace, the crows selected a very good coach so hopefully for them they find the right man, but it won't be easy.
We will also get to trade in more players and not be injury riddled like this past year.
Menzel is back and a star, Vardy is back, Cowan and Stanley who was huge for us will be back. Hopefully Clark gets out there aswell.
Selwood can only improve.
That is lots of improvement and now we won't get the 'tough' fixture but Adelaide will.
I know people like to write us off but the talent gap is clear and has been for over 10 years. 2015 was never going to be our year, too many key injuries and holes, there is no logical reason to think the crows are ahead.

Telling a professional footballer you have no right to play where you want! This is the AFL's biggest dilemma, and why FA was introduced. If this 'deal' collapses (and it won't), FA will be dead and who knows what then unfolds.
He is a RESTRICTED free agent, stop being a flog.

The only "logical" thing you can summise is that we finished a number of spots higher than you this year. The rest is just a Geelong supporter's hopeful speculation, friend.

If you can't tell why Adelaide will get more if dangerfield is a brownlow medalist best and fairest then I am not gunna explain it to you because you're a lost cause
Ok...

Has there been any confirmation that he wants to go to Geelong?
All I have read is "to Victoria"
Obviously can't say where he wants to go until FA starts, otherwise tampering... Probably couldn't request a trade to a specific club due to being a RFA.
