Unless there is a Buddy deal, Crows should match.

If it's Geelong, go after their first pick, a future pick or a player. It weakens Geelong and gives them compensation.

My understanding of why we didnt match the buddy deal is that we were scared he was going to turn around and say 'yeah I'll accept that.' With Geelong offering similar coin to Adelaide that problem isn't there.

I think everyone expects that will offer him 2 years at 3 million (with an extension to follow) which is tricky for the Crows to match. Firstly because at the end of that period he's an FA and secondly not many clubs would have that budgeted in case the deal falls through and you are way under your TPPs.

On Friday pre-game footy show Eddie Maquire had his prediction of Dangerfied playing well and wrote it as 'Danger is my business'. I'm pretty confidant that the Pies now are pushing as hard as Geelong for the trade. Eddie has the media hookups which Danger would interested in too. Pies trade value would probably be better than Geelongs but maybe not if they secure Treloar. If they had a chice, they'd choose Danger. AFC will get their First round and Scharenburg...maybe their 2nd round too.

I would love to get Scharenberg and some pics if he goes Adelaide should push for the best trade option

I'd do Scharenberg and first round pick (in top 10) for Danger. Trade Witts to Bulldogs for their first rounder and give that and next year's first rounder for Treloar. Seedsman and 2nd rounder to Lions for Aish. Make it happen Eddie. Front end one contract and back end the other. We have the $$ after losing Beams. Reid and Cloke will be on lesser contracts next five around. And Swan will prob only play for 1 or 2 more seasons.

Definately push for best trade option, I don't think there's another option if he chooses to go. If B Crouch get get fit next year, our midfield will still be elite without PD.

That's some very creative contract management if it were to work. I don't know if the cap could hold both, Cloke will still command high $, so will Pendles...

If we could get a first rounder and Sharenberg we effectively could try and trade one first rounder for Aish and still retain a 1st pick for the draft. Well and truly to explore options if Geelong won't play ball

We need a high 1st for Aish. He's about 15-25 I'd say.

Lol, the cats are not going to offer danger $1.5m pa! Your club does not believe in putting players on big money.

Bottom line is afc can afford to match any gfc offer & will if necessary to ensure fairer value for danger should he leave. Eg. Your 1st round picks for the next 2 years. We will not stand in his way if he wants to leave, but we are not going to give him away when we have the capacity to match.

It's all going to be irrelevant as confident danger will remain a crow.

How is it so hard with you guys. 1.5 million pa for two years. Then 200 per year for the next 4. So averaged out it equals 620,000k a year or thereabouts.

When is he going to announce he's staying by the way? Season is over soon.
