As much fun as it is to shit stir Crows fans about Danger leaving, its gotten to that point for me now that its much funner to stir up Cat's fans about Dangerfield not leaving as it feels like they've now assumed he's locked in the bag. Dangerfield wants a premiership and if he thinks that after last nights display Geelong is more likely than Adelaide, he's insanely deluded. Adelaide have much better structures in place, are financially more sound, are a younger team overall with many more of their younger players pulling the slack and setting up the future of the club.
In terms of off field success for a setup in the media, he's in a much much better situation in Adelaide and the only other club that I think could offer him better opportunities is Collingwood. He is basically revered by 50% of the population here who supports Adelaide. He has investments here and if he wants to see his family more, Adelaide would let him do that in a heartbeat.
The only reason I see him going to Geelong is to be closer to his family, which in reality won't be that significant with the workload he has as it is. The only other club I see competing for his contract is Collingwood, but I don't see them offering the $$$ to pull him over. Will be surprised to see him leave Adelaide - he is in a very good position there right now, as is their list.
