Yeah, how much was he part of that though? he was on the outer so maybe he didn't feel it even though he wasn't in the team.
Looking at his games he played for the dogs between 2017-2021, he was only part of 30 winning games.

True. I do remember Brandon Jack saying he had a lot of resentment towards Heeney because Heeney was playing and winning when he was not. It'd be like that for some guys at the club and I guess Henry may feel he's being left out. Yeah, I'm sure he isn't happy with himself. But he did play 14 games this year. For a 19 year old that's pretty decent in your 2nd year.
He should just use that as fuel to get better with a vengance for 2023.

He likes to rip a couple of absolute bullets into the middle each game.

He was one I was worried about heading into finals. I was wrong. He's adapted to the increase in pressure seamlessly, and actually upped his game.

Got run down more than once , he is releasing the ball quicker though as he realises his lack of leg speed will catch up with him , or his opponents catch up with him .

If you accumulate possessions you will eventually get run down. No one who gets the ball, especially midfielders, goes without being tackled. Lipinski will get tackled and he will, at times, get caught. However, he is an elite user of the ball, especially by hand, and we are significantly better off with him in the team. He has been a stellar recruit for the Pies.

The pass he put to Jamie last week, into space and Jamie’s advantage in a 1-vs-2, allowed him to keep the ball in our forward line and eventually score rather than have it ping back out where our players had already spaced their opponents and would be exposed. Such a smart kick.

Yeah I read that too earlier in the week. Don’t know what surprised me more, that he was nominated (clearly underrated externally) or that clubs put players up as candidates. Always thought it was a completely independent. Clearly shows that coaches value different things to commentators (and whoever else makes up the AA panel..)
