Needs a run at VFL level. There needs to be a rocket put up the playing group and some standards set with selection. Unfortunately Lippa hasn't played well for a few weeks now, and can't keep playing ordinary footy at AFL level and hold your spot....

Well unfortunately he is a liability at senior level at the moment, and trying to find form, in game, at AFL level is just too hard....

Then they must be watching the games with their eyes closed,because he’s been awful since he came back from injury.Even in the games we won he was basically doing nothing.

I have defended Lippa but he did look slow and soft today. How can he keep getting a game when Ginnivan has performed at a high level for a couple of weeks now? Ginnivan is not quick but he is a genuine forward which is where Lippa spends most of his time. He also hits the scoreboard and can have a real impact from minimal possessions. Time for Jack to get another chance.

I'd have WHE ahead of Lippa too!

Not sure why a guy who can't lay a tackle is one of Fly's favourites, but he really needs to go back to the VFL.

If he plays next week it's a huge mistake IMO, most importantly because of the message that it sends to the rest of the team re: selection.

As in 2022, Lipinski needs to play on a wing, where he has more time and space to deliver the ball to advantage into our F50, instead of playing him as a forward. We’re playing him out of position and then wondering why his output/impact is down.

I would swap him with Sidebottom who has natural forward instincts, particularly as a front-and-square crumber, which we’re really missing.

Even if I had been reminding you that you hammered me about Lipinski coming straight back in -- which I said wasn't the biggest issue in the world but something I questioned -- that's not the same as falsely attributing a position -- hoping our players get injured -- to someone. So yes, passive aggressive.

It's fine, we've all written things that we didn't think through, were glib or unfair. I've done it before.
