We actually looked to have a better structure when he came on. An extra mid to rotations in warm weather, whilst jezza Howe seamlessly covered for the loss of Murphy.

Played very well and a deserving premiership player. I reckon he only left the Dogs because he was starved of opportunity after the arrival of Treloar. The irony is delicious.

He worked hard defensively. Props to him
Needs to get his confidence back in the off season. With 2 surgeries, reckon it got in his head, not wanting to miss more games even though there was nothing physically wrong with his shoulder.
But he went out there with no care in the world. Hopefully this spurs him on for a good pre-season.

Midfield getting older. He’s an established senior player who can step up now as required as veterans start to struggle for form and fitness, and become a mentor for the next generation.

Good game from him when it matters, no sign of the fumbles that have plagued him recently.

Lippa is similar to WHE in that there's a nuance to his performance that doesn't jump out at you - his mistakes are glaring yet it's only when I re-watch games and focus on him that I understand what he adds to the team - didn't notice him at all during the 3rd quarter of the Prelim when watching live - watching the replay I noticed how many important moments he contributed to. Same again for the GF - it's almost like he needs a game style PR rep to advertise his positives - guess it doesn't matter at all now, he's got the perfect response to any doubters, it's the medal hanging around his neck. Well done Lippa

I think being dropped was a wake up call for him, expect a big tough pre-season if he wants to be best 22 next year. on notice.

Ginn for me lucky to make the team more so than Framption, wouldn't be suprised if we moved him on as well in the trade period.

Huh, move Ginni on??? he i sone of the yougest on the list .. and GF winner, so he i sbehind HH, Darper Ruscoe, Bianco, Kelly .. i could go on with 20 others behind him.. WTF?? (Frampton was a witches hat btw .. !)

I got the feeling in the latter part of the season that Patty was just trying to get through to the GF without hurting his shoulder again & missing out.
He was pretty good when he came on & hopefully it will give him the confidence that his shoulder is OK.
Bigger and better next year Lippa!

Yeah, I reckon so, given how much footy he lost at the start of the year, and his two surgeries back to back. There wasn't anything wrong with him physically. Was just in his head.

Legendstatus has an irrational hatred of Ginni, you get used to it
