Solid game from lip. Been copping it of late unfairly very handy acquisition
Gets in the right spots. Such clean hands.

The moment he had 13 touches in the first quarter, I was like.. yup, he is about to have a big game today.

Did very well. Needs to get back on the scoreboard haha. Stop being unselfish Patty.

12 score involvements.
338 metres gained
6 inside 50's

Just went about his work where sometimes you barely noticed.

He's been great all year

yup, not everyone understands the role he plays to be able to appreciate just what he does. A real role player that just does what the team needs.

Was good last week, but think we need to be selective when playing him in the midfield.

Massive liability against the top contested midfields - play a defensive Tyler Brown instead.

Against regular midfields that excel on the spread (Richmond, Hawthorn), play Lipinski in the guts and he will dominate.

Tyler Brown has no place in our midfield. He is incredibly one dimensional, and he's not particularly good at that one dimension anyway. I agree with your points about Lippa, but there are certainly more preferable options than Tyler

Sunday was his best, or most effective game for us. I noticed him more, which probably says more about me than him.

Kudos to Lippa and the coaches for making this work.

What a load of nonsense.

All of our developing mids have a place in our midfield, that’s how they’ll learn. He’s 5-10kg short of his ideal playing weight. At his height he’s too easily moved off the ball. Earned his opportunity based on solid VFL form. Give him a taste and then back to the VFL.

He’s 20 games into his career, I guess if it were up to you everybody below 23 that isn’t a Daicos should be delisted? Get a grip!

No, he just has not shown anything at AFL level. Well, besides being able to provide pressure, I suppose. If you had seen any of my posts you would see how high I am on our young talent. It's just my opinion that neither of the Brown boys are nearly good enough

Hopefully can back it up on Saturday

I've noticed that each week Lippa is in our top 5 if not #1 for distance covered during the game. Seems as Hough his aerobic fitness is elite.

I also notice that in 3rd and 4th quarters he moves as though his muscles are tired/weak yet he is still covering ground easily.

Hopefully that added strength endurance comes with age as I think that is the main reason he lacks explosiveness and can look lethargic at times.

None of this is a knock on him by the way, played a great game at the weekend.

I Agree on Cal but not sure on Tyler.
I think Tyler could make it still but both Brown boys are almost players especially Callum.
Callum gets in the right spots, reads the game really well and has great pressure but he has no skills and his execution and decisions are terrible, he’s a definite no from me.
As mentioned Tyler needs 10 kilos more and a more aggressive approach, he has nice skills but seems like he’s happy to sit at the back of the bus in games rather than trying to really take the lead.

I'm willing to give Tyler the same amount of time we've given to Callum thus far - I think that would be 2 more seasons. But I am done with Cal. Not holding my breath for Tyler

Yeah, doing well! Occasionally, gets caught holding the ball and a WTF moment when he misses a kick but apart from that solid start in the black and white!

Tyler at least seemed to show alot more intensity yesterday. Just needs to go full throttle and get the ball another 10 times a game. One thing about the Browns is that you never see them receive the ball running into space.

I have seen this with Cal but he usually turns back into congestion.

I’d love to hear Fly explain what role he’s directing T Brown to play. He’s relatively new to this inside mid role so I wonder if it’s a more simple “stick to <insert players name> like glue and minimize his impact” instruction at the moment and we’ll see what evolves.
