Played every game since round 1. I feel its been a pretty good first year at the pies for him. Just knows what he needs to do for the team and the role he plays. First time since he debuted in the AFL he has played more than 17 games. Played 25 this year

Huge pickup. He has an enormous tank, lifts when the going is tough, and is a classy user. Easy to forget that at 24 he's only just on the verge of his prime

Not the first time either. Bit similar to last few games. Seems to thrive in such situations.

In recent weeks (not so much tonight) I have really come to appreciate his fast hands in particular - got some chains going that many would've been too slow to execute. Early in the year I was annoyed by him spectating when he should be tackling but he's winning/won me over.

Every disposal today seemed to be to a player under pressure. Like, the very definition of hospital handballs. He's had a very good season overall but let's not pretend he was a shining light today.

He has been a brilliant pick up. I love his disposal by hand and foot-very slick and creative.
 
He was very good again. He’s good in finals because like Pendles he has a calm head and clean disposal.

Been a very welcome addition and part of the culture.
He started excellently and added consistency and seemingly hardness as the year progressed.

One of the better recent acquisitions we have made.

Can’t wait to see him build on that in 2023.

Agreed.. don't think that he will ever be A grade player. but I can see him being a solid B / B+ consistent player across his career

Which is absolutely fine. Consistent is what we need more than anything. Not everyone can be a star. He plays his role perfectly

Lippa looks better playing live than on TV

Can see his running patterns and what he does when not with the ball

He is also faster than i had thought

Very good pick-up, with room to improve

He has done very well during the finals series. Really stood up when needed.

He may not be what we thought originally, but in the end, he is exactly what we need. Such a classy user by foot.

One area for the team and coaches to work on in the off season is F50 entries.
Having good ball users like Patty & Nick will be a big help.
