Surely the salary cap is not far from exploding up and Boyd and Buddy annual payments will occur in every club?
If Pickering gets his way, then Yes!....Player managers have a vested interest in their clients moving for more money, more often....Unfortunately, it's snake-oil salesman like this bloke who profit from it most!

Is it Good for Clubs, loyalty & fans....No!.....For slimy, scum-sucking bottom-feeders?....Yes!

Player contracts should be done in percentage terms of the salary cap. That way if the salary cap were to suddenly see a massive rise due to a new media rights deal or similar then players on long term deals or deals stretching over the change don't get caught on undervalue pay for however long. I know that's the players risk in signing a long term deal but given how volatile a footy career life span can be a player would be taking a big risk not to sign a deal for as long as he could get. It's highly unlikely that the cap would ever go down so I reckon it would be a good move.
