Has any other Bomber fans read the article in yesterdays Australian on Mark Johnson & Sheedy by the F@#*head Patrick Smith.

I have never read such an immature, vitriolic ranting by a so called professional in my life.

Can anyone tell me what the email address is for the Australian, as I want to respond to
the article to voice my disapproval.

Thanks

I actually get the Australia and the "herald-Sun" home delivered each day, so I read Patrick Smith's articles.

There is something about his writing style which I don't like. He is VERY sarcastic, and often will be very glib, and "cutesy" smart in his own innate way. It's as though he thinks he knows it all, and others opinions don't warrant anything other than a shrug of the shoulders.

I don't like his sarcastic style, at all. Funny that he barracks for the Bombers. I was aware of that, but you wouldn't know it from what he writes.

One of those situations where they overcompensate in an attempt to hide bias? Dennis Commetti's been doing it for years....

Patrick DOES know it all, just ask him.
But if you take offence at what he wrote about Johnson I think you may be a little to precious yourself.
Facts are Sheeds was in the wrong, how he turned it around so he was looking at the end of the week like he was the hero is a pathetic snow job by most journos in Vic who kowtow to him all the time.
I dont like smith either, yet this time (put the sarcasam aside) he was correct.
Oh dont see the apology from Sheeds re johnson initiating illegal contact this week? Didnt think so.
How do you spell hyporicte? S-h-e-e-d-y

Patrick Smith is generally a pretty good writer, but since he's moved to the Australian, there seems to have become a touch bit too sanctimonious in his attitude. What was once wit has now become sarcasm, and that's sad because he has some very good points to make.

On the Sheedy-White saga, the media has to take some of the blame. How often was that footage shown on TV? As Rohan Connelly pointed out, you had Jason Dunstall getting all indignant and frothy mouthed over Sheedy whilst his TV channel showed the footage (all 10 seconds of it) over and over again. Australian footy fans will not suddenly get the urge to start soccer style riots just because Sheedy had a go at White. IN fact, the only person to have come out of this with any credit whatsoever was White himself....after Sheedy's threats, White simply ran up the players race with a grin on his face.
