Patto does not look quick, and certainly doesn't have great acceleration, but I think you would by surprised by how well he can actually cover the ground. Once he get's moving, that long, loping stride can eat up the ground.
Take a look at the good work done by Ashley Hansen in last years Grand Final. Hansen is a player of similar dimensions to Patto, and one that I though too slow to play at CHF. In the GF, he was opposed by Lewis Roberts-Thompson - a bit of a gumby (not unlike our Razor) but still one that is very quick and mobile for a KPP.
I was amazed to see that Hansen was continually on his bike, pushing up the ground, and that LRT could not keep up with him!
I think that, like Hansen, if Patto was started at CHF and given licence to roam, there would be few KPP defenders that could keep up.
Still, give Patto another year or two in the gym... he will be our #1 ruckman!
