Classic that this rumour has reappeared after all these years. I remember playing on Simon against Werribee one day and the amount of abuse he recevied regarding that was huge. I was a young buck back then tagging him, suffice to say I didnt know how close I should play him! I also believe John Rombotis might have stumbled into that room as well.....

One question: When did all of this happen?

Matthew Primus didn't join Fitzroy until the 1995 National Draft.. Simon Atkins career with Fitzroy ended in 1996.. (Pike was with them from 1995 to 1996).. So if this did indeed happened, it must've took place either late 1995 or in 1996.. And Paul Atkins was playing for Burnie (in the Tasmanian Statewide League) during those seasons..
