I keep reading rumours from various nuff nuffs stating that he has been messing with someone's sheila on the side. I don't buy it, for obvious reasons, but I get the feeling that that particular rumour might be fueling some people's delusions that he would come to their club.

He was photographed with his girlfriend in the Herald Sun just a couple of weeks ago and said in the accompanying article that there were only a few small things to iron out before he signs a new contract. Seems a very decent bloke and unlikely to be engaged in naughty business with someone else's sheila. Also stated he wants to play at least 250 games for Geelong. I expect him to re-sign soon.

- contract won't be signed until the end of the year (wants to concentrate on his footy)
- couldn't be happier at Geelong & there is no chance of him going anywhere else.

I would have thought so too. He has had several injuries of this or a similar type in the past 18 months and Geelong have used an abundance of caution in bringing players back from injury recently. I'd be very surprised if they risked him this week.
