....for the rest of the FINAL series. Just heard on the news :(

It was expected I guess FFC shouldn't have risked him against the Crows and risked the $10,000 fine to put Polak in the side.

Since the "Woewodin" was lost to the thread downtime, here is an audio link where Shane was talking to SEN a few moments ago revealing that Haze is out; http://media.putfile.com/Shane-Woewodin

With our need for him to be fit and back to his best for 2007, has anyone perhaps Dom heard how Hase is travelling and is he on track to start preseason ?

Also O/T how is JLo progressing, have we heard exactly what his problem is with his knee and what the prognosis ?

Apparently it is a 4-5 month recovery from the surgery that Hasleby had. That really puts him behind the 8 ball which is a worry. Like CC said, and I agree with him, Hasleby is in our 5 most important players. I'd prefer him to sit out the first 3 or 4 rounds and find match fitness through the sharks than be rushed back. A fit Hasleby and Pavlich spending 30+ minutes on the ball makes a huge difference to the side that lost to Sydney.

2007 is a massive year for JLo IMHO. He had his best season in 2001, which was his 3rd season as an afl footballer. If he can return to that form we will have fantastic flexibility. His work ethic is great, he just can't get his body right. I think the problem with his knees are more wear and tear than something serious, so minor surgury and rest should see him back to his peak.

Tarrant + Hasleby + JLo + Solomon = exciting 2007!!

Thanks Dom, So thats no-preseason; basically Feb '07 before he starts, that rights off 2007. You wont be able to pick up the lost conditioning and fitness during the year and still manage\prevent the injury L/T .
