Its typical roos, taking a pot shot at Richmond when he can and when its not warranted.

They are also hardly the poster child of stable clubs, wipe all their debt only to get back into debt straight away and have the AFL pay for a CEO and Coach. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!

Would also could add how many AFL teams who have passionate enough supporters to create a rogue group to challenge for the board?

Curious how any club can be considered more stable when they voted themselves out of existence.

As ****ed as Richmond has been, the members never voted in favour of our own death

Very true.

I also wonder how many senior AFL coaches/officials etc... take pot shots at the way other clubs are run? Even Essendon barely got public mentions from other clubs and that was a cluster**** of epic proportions.
 
pretty well known fact roos can't stand richmond has always shitted on us win or lose. master coach that coached 2 sides who the afl helped out over rated egotistical flog

Roos is an idiot. A coach installed and paid for by the AFL. A club that has been found guilty of salary cap, draft tampering and tanking and has been the laughing stock of the Victorian based clubs for many years.

I guess when you are part of a basket case such as the Dees, the only positive is to knock down the opposition. What a class act. Says a lot about him as a person, and speaks volumes of the the basket case of a club he coached.

What a moron. Now the club he leaves will have to deal with his comments.
 
News for you Roos, Melbourne is still a long way from turning around from the rabble you took over.

Had a flag handed to him at Sydney and done **** all with the shemons even with all the help that rabble got. Thought he ****ed off to America? Dumb campaigner.

Haven't read the article, but per the theme of the responses in this thread, Roos really sh*ts me. Viewed as some sort of master coach when in reality he's had that much luck and assistance it isn't funny. Hogan, Petracca, Oliver, Brayshaw .....to name a few ....... AFL sponsored CEO (Jackson), god knows what other kick-backs. Hell, Mark Neeld may have got similar results in the same timeframe.

I know several people who were present when he stormed the field at a juniors' match in Sydney and shouted abuse at the rival team's players. From all accounts of those there he was absolutely feral, bullying and just a massive prick all round.

With the talent Sydney had in the 2000s, one premiership (just!) isn't a huge achievement - and his experience at Melbourne shows his shortcomings. Longmire's been far better for the Swans.
