IMO Tredders had a far better year than Pav. I was wondering how you guys rated Pav's year?

Personally, i think he had a couple of good games, one great game and the rest were second rate.

He struggles in contested marking situations, cannot kick on his left foot and needs to build his upper body strength to take the next step and become and elite CHF, like Tredders..

With saying that. Do supporters think he deserved his selection?

This year, without Pav, we would have won about 5 games.

He was seriously the difference in a vast majority of our wins. In the first half of the year he was playing on the other side of 50 and pulling in 10 or so marks a game, something like 18 against carlton?

Second half of the year he played on the right side of 50, and kicked 40 odd goals at around 4 a game.

You couldn't have watched many freo games, probably just caught Tredrea kick a few against an under strengthed Thornton and Pav having his worst (and one of the only poor games) of the season.

You're an idiot. Struggles in contested marking situations? Why then did he take 49 contested marks to Tredrea's 40?

Why does he lead every statistical category over Tredrea except general marks?

You're a class idiot.

We look at the stats and they are rather similar. 61goals from CHF is good

PAV did not take his team to the finals. Tredders did.

some of the selections in AA team this year was rather poor
why are you so bitter? Perhaps freo have a worse team than port have you ever considered this. Tredrea if anything has been shown for his contested marking this yr when the port midfield has struggled. Tredrea's AA days are over.

just_maybe did tredrea get a few marks credited to him late in the season, cause i remember you put the contested ones up not long ago and the gap was even greater. And to say pav doesnt take contested marks, but tredders does is rather funny thehoff.

I can't remember many games this season where Pav wasn't double teamed. Don't watch enough Port games to comment whether or not Tredders was double teamed.

Maybe thats one reason he was selected ahead of Tredrea. Similar stats, twice as many opponents.

We were half a game in front of you b4 the last game. Pav didnt have a good game but was supposely carrying an injury. there was half a game difference @ the end (the difference was probably playing you guys @ AAMI) and you make it sound like we finished 16th and you finished first.

Tredders was double teamed for much of the early season

i think the only reason Pav was chosen, was coz his versatility, and his general 'glamour' image

the AA selectors love him, and will do anything to get him into the team. remember, he got placed at FB, when he hadn't played a game there that season.

This time, there would be alot less contrevesy, if any, if they put him at CHF, so they did.

Pav also had Tredrea sitting in the hole in front of him at times during our first match this season.

Pavlich operation to solve chronic shoulder complaint

FREMANTLE star Matthew Pavlich's brilliant 2005 season has become even more impressive after the revelation that his shoulder popped out several times throughout the year.

Pavlich had his left shoulder reconstructed yesterday and faces a four-month rehabilitation process. The 23-year-old carried the injury for several years but still managed to earn All-Australian selection at centre half-forward this year.

Fremantle football manager Steven Icke said the club could no longer ask him to play as a key forward if his shoulders weren't stable.

The Dockers have also finished their review of the season, which could lead to an increase in coaching staff next year.

The Dockers added former Collingwood assistant Michael Broadbridge this year and they will discuss further bolstering the match committee in the coming weeks.

Either an amateurish troll or staggeringly naive.
