I remember Judd giving even more emphatic hints that he wanted to stay when all the while he was busy talking to other clubs and plotting his departure. Don't be too trusting of pronouncements of loyalty from modern day footballers, especially the top notch ones. At least he is in contract still which means that you will control any potential trade and not the players manager.
