The stinking poachers from Richmond have already taken two of our players in the past few years. Keep your filthy, vile hands off Pav.

What Port and Cows fans need to realise is that its Pav not a depth player. Look at what Hay, Thompson and Carr were traded for. It will cost around a couple top 10 picks and a decent player.
Have a look what a few of the very good players were traded for when they wanted to change clubs. I have included a few of your Freo boys as well. You might be able to help out with a few of the trades that went from Fremantle back home.
Tyson Stenglein for example: 1998 National AFL Draft 2nd round selection (Adelaide) No. 29 overall on-traded by Melbourne to Fremantle for Tony Modra; National Bank's 2004 AFL Draft traded by Adelaide for No. 12 (Danny Meyer) and No. 28 (Chad Gibson). So Crows traded a fading superstar Tony Modra to Fremantle for Pick 29. They then traded Tyson to West Coast for picks 12 and 28. Pretty generous I would think. What happened to the pick 12?
Kane Johnson: 1995 National AFL Draft 2nd round selection Adelaide) No. 27 overall traded by Melbourne for Anthony Ingerson; 2002 National AFL Draft selection traded by Adelaide for Jason Torney, No. 2 (Daniel Wells), No. 18 (Kris Shore) and No. 32 (Luke Jericho). Can follow the initial trade at Pick 27. The trade to Richmond is a bit confusing.
Josh Carr: 1998 National AFL Draft 1st round selection (Port Adelaide) No. 7 overall; 2004 NAB AFL Draft traded by Port Adelaide for No. 11 (Adam Thomson), No. 27 (Pat Garner) and No. 45 (Justin Sherman).
Peter Bell: Recruited to Fremantle as a pre-draft selection; 1996 Pre-Season Draft 1st round selection (Kangaroos) No. 15 overall; 2000 National AFL Draft traded by Kangaroos for Jess Sinclair, No. 6 (Dylan Smith) and No. 37 (Guy Richards).
Jeff Farmer:1994 National AFL Draft traded by Fremantle for Phil Gilbert; 2001 National AFL Draft traded by Melbourne for No. 17 (James Kelly).
Des Headland:1998 National AFL Draft 1st round selection (Brisbane) No. 1 overall; 2002 National AFL Draft traded by Brisbane for No. 3 (Jared Brennan) and No. 19 (Troy Selwood).
Heath Black:1996 National AFL Draft 1st round selection (Fremantle) No. 12 overall; 2001 National AFL Draft traded by Fremantle for No. 17 (James Kelly); 2004 NAB AFL Draft traded by St Kilda for Troy Simmonds.
I will add Jason Akermanis although not necessarily returning home:1994 National AFL Draft zone selection; 2006 NAB AFL Draft traded by Brisbane for No. 34 (Chris Schmidt)
Looking at the above trades I make the point that the trades seem fair and often draft picks alone have worked better than trading average-good players for these very good players. Fremantle have the opportunity to have the pick the eyes out of the U/18 champs this year. If Pav wants to come home I don't see that offering players will necessarily be the way to go. They have the opportunity to get home grown talent that could give their club plenty of 10 year players. Maybe one player and 2 top draft picks would be all they would want. Remember that if you trade for 5 players/picks you effectively have to delist 4 more of your own current stock.

Richmond sucks. Haven't you lot poached enough of our players in the past few years? Go pat Simmonds and Polak on the back and admire how pretty they look in black'n'yella and bloody well leave Pav alone.![]()
To be fair, Polak hardly got much of a run before he left and Simmonds was second fiddle to Longmuir.
He accepted the job and with that comes responsibility.....
Pavlich clearly lacks passion. I don't remember hearing last year that so many of our young players were 'soft'. They are all following the example set by their lazy leader.
With Bell at the helm this did not occur, they appeared, at least to try. There was an urgency about the team which isn't there now.
According to media reports ....

Apart from a 9 week run we were inconsistent during Peter Bell's last 3 years as captain. Our current form has nothing to do with the fact that Pavlich is captain this year IMO.
Whats the deal with getting stuck into Pav? I know it's been a frustrating year but you're braking up the wrong tree there if you think that he's got anything to do with the averageness of our season.

There isn't the same leadership shown at breaks.
You mean commercial breaks ?
Why is there so many negative noobs around this joint at the moment.![]()
I too saw the headline in the gutter rag and bought it out of anger. I don't usually buy the paper, but I was wondering who is saying that Pav owes freo, and why is he saying it.
I read the article and agree in parts and disagree in others. Probably mostly agree though. Really McDermotts opinion is his opinion and what he says is nothing new or revolutionary.
What sh*ts me is that this is the headline on the back page when really the 'story' is a guys opinion and probably only worthy of 2 or 3 pages in, IMO. But then any actual news that is sport related that could be a headline, such as Aus V Iraq yesterday or Saints V Adel would not have interested me enough to buy the paper. So the stupid headline worked, it sold me and I suspect lots of others. And that is what the worst does, sell papers.
I believe Pav when he says his contract will get resolved when it gets resolved and I think he will stay with the club.
Don't believe the hype
WTF??? What team do you really follow? My guess is e-girls
Yeah don't believe the hype. But look at the facts.
Our Captain has not signed on the dotted line. He is putting himself first when our team needs stability.
He is either:
a. indifferent;
b. homesick; or
c. greedy
