Love that he is playing out the season....would have been easy to retire now or after his 350th. Great player, great captain, great man.

Not surprising, but I doubt my eyes will be dry after the Bulldogs game. Absolute legend of the football club, great player, great captain, great person and great role model. The greatest Docker ever. No matter how good Fyfey gets, Pav will always be my favourite Docker, for standing by us for 16 years. Thanks for everything Pav.

I'll be there to pay my respects and applaud Our Supreme Leader one last time.
Remember when he first arrived and outwitted,,outbodied and outmarked Slappovitch on the boundary and bananaed the goal.He was 18 I think.
We've been blessed.
Ross just calls him The Champ.

...Bugger waiting till the Bulldogs game, my eyes aren't dry now!

When you look at it, Pav is the STATESMAN of WA footy.

He is respected across the footy world for his conduct on AND off the field.

He has given 100% of himself to Freo. He deserves to be sent off with a standing ovation, with a line of players he has played with, near the exit to the playing arena.

Our best player by a mile

I still have the Heritage strip he wore against Melbourne round 16 2006, the white jumper with red chevrons. I had the jumper and black shorts framed :thumbsu:
I have 1 of his 29 signed/framed 300 games / 600 goals guernseys. Hopefully it will become a cherished family heirloom haha

He really should have a statue at the new Cockburn place.

First WA based player to reach 300 games. Club games record holder (unlikely to be beaten for a long long time), 6 x AA, 6 x B&F winner, 8 x club leading goal kicker. Will be inducted into the hall of fame eventually.

Also our longest serving captain (again, unlikely to be beaten for a long long time).

Wow, Awesome that's going straight to the pool room!
I remember that game very well, Pav smashed them playing in the guts - Legend

I reckon heel be inducted into the Hall of Fame within a couple of years.
