Hi Bulldogrob. Well after a rumor recently I have been thinking about this, and this is what I would want for Pav:

(1) A Good young WA KP player who in theory could play CHF (IE. Franklin, Clark, Ryder or Gumbleton)

AND

(2) A first round pick.

I think of all the players in (1), Clark would be the easiest to obtain (Note I am not saying he would be easy to obtain). So from a Bulldogs hypothetical perspective, assuming he wants to go there, I guess I am thinking something like:

Bulldogs: Pavlich
Fremantle: Clark, 1st Round pick (From Bulldogs)
Brisbane: Ryan Griffen and a 2nd round pick????

The difficulty is in making an exchange to Brisbane that would seem worthwhile to them....

Why would we want a good young key position player? We have Murphy, Campbell, Warnock and Drum running around in the WAFL. We are desperate for quick, tall, ball winning midfielders. Cooks finished, McManus is in his last season, Matt Carr is struggling, Bell probably only has a year and a half to go, and Hasleby is injury prone.

Franklin would be great but won't be traded, we don't need the other three.
