Are people shitting the bed crying that we're going to fall out of the top four like we were sposed to last year?

******* pussies.
No expectation 2016 year , a flag will be bonus, a modify game plan with some game time for yonger player will be the main topic , focus point also remain on how well freo manage pav as compare to Mac .

A friend, cousins acquaintance who lives south of the river in the greater Fremantle area said his brother knows a trolley dolly at Virgin Airlines and she said and I quote " Pav playing on is nothing short of selfish. He only needs 9 more return flights to the east coast to be the first person world wide to reach Kryptonite Status in their frequent flyer program. This will move him up to 51% shareholder of the airline and give him voting rights. His first order of business is to change the name to Pav Airways and the lounge will be renamed Fyfedom".
Hahaha

If the Pav struggles, I hope the flogs don't boo him.

What a disgrace when he was booed this year, whilst spuds like Mayne have caused him to take on so much burden.
Hello Mr Freagle.

Pav has never been booed. It's a myth perpetuated by West Coast trolls.

Rumbled.
1 more year, maybe he sees something we don't?
Who are you calling we, Paleface?

Pav was never boo'd. He did drop a bunch of marks in a home game last year, when he did take a grab in the last qtr, a number of fans bronx cheered him. Loud enough to hear it through the tv. Was poor form by our supporters.

Great news will be interesting to see how he's used up forward, will always still get the best defender the key is others taking the work load.

Trouble is he's been getting the best 2 defenders .....Tabs your time is now son!

Poor form yes, but to run with the West Coast troll story that it was booing is disgraceful from a "supporter".

That merchant banker should be banned from this board.

I suspect Pav won't do a lot of traveling to places like Darwin, Gold Coast or Homebush. Outside of that he'd have to be managed, but if he's going to play on it will have to be with the intent of playing (fitness not withstanding) at least 16 games.

Just keeps him outa the pub:cool:.
Lauren [kids screaming in the background]: So Matthew are you going to retire or play in 2016?
Matthew: Think I've still got the hunger to run around another year.

Great news, relieving news. Heavily manage him next year, say ~15 games, with an emphasis on him being cherry ripe come finals. I thought he'd pull up stumps this year, happy to be wrong but also a little frustrated for him because we're still going to lean so heavily on him.

Very happy with this news. If he is fit and firing he will still be a weapon. The thing about Pav is he's got lots of weapons so doesn't have to rely on just speed or strength. He's smart.

Just on a physical level to have the career he's hard playing out of Perth and still be able to continue playing at 34 and 300+ games is incredible and testament to his absolute professionalism and elite standards in preparation and recovery.

Good news (fingers crossed) 40 goals in 2015 was more than a pass mark. 15 games and 30 goals in 2016 please Pav.

I have been away from Oz for the past month and looked forward to catching up on all the news and views on this site. Thanks to all for helping keep all the Freo news up to date and available.

Yep, I recall the game, Pav was having a Barry Croker of a game marking wise. Got the bronx cheer when he finally got a mark, it was good natured IMO (Sandi has had a few of these but we still love him!). It is the only time I have heard Pav get a bronx in 17 years which means his marking has been pretty bloody good.
