Richmond over 15.5 is $4. With such an injury ravaged brisbane and a coleman leading forward in Jack im struggling to see how we couldnt win by over 15.5. So lets load up and ride it home. (ps over 39.5 is $10, also maybe worth a nibble)

Sounds good, might have a punt.

I'd like to see Vickery and Graham up there taking turns as the secondary big target....don't expect too much from Griffith yet...ease him into things with less physically demanding roles is the way to go for now...protect those dodgy shoulders until the next pre-season at least...

You think we will lose to Brisbane?? Since round 5 Brisbane have won just one game. This was with Jonathon Brown, I dont see why thats a stretch to expect us to win. Hey if your mob can do it then why cant we
Were a good chance to win and them odds are juicy. Worth a look thats for sure. I think even on current form we would give stupid Melbourne a run for their money

Did you beat WestCoast? Its not about who we have beat its about the continued improvement. Only a fool like you could not see we have improved week by week over the past month.
no denying it, you're looking like your heading upward. BUT, haven't you said this for 20 years, time to be confident, but not arrogant

I have not been saying it for 20years. Again being a Melbourne fan you have little right to comment on performance as you have done stuff all for how long now? Surely we are aloud to be Proud/Positive about how we are going over the past month. Also the current list we have every right to think positive and that things will get better as its alot better then the past years.

Why does a team's success correlate with their right to comment?
Excuse the intrusion but can't stand that kind of mentality.

Here's to a good game on the weekend. Will be watching young Riewoldt very carefully. Interested to see how he goes lined up against a legitimate full back. Thought his haul last week was good for footy.

You are right, he has every right to comment. But he didn't really comment, he just came on here and started crapping on about our performance and our arrogance, and didn't even really 'comment' on our chances of winning. The way he posted was always going to cop this kind of reaction... I mean, seriously, it's the Richmond board, and Richmond people are getting excited about a win or two, what'd he expect to read on here?

Expecting a close game, a lot of interest will be shown by both sets of fans in both Full Forwards - Fev's 200th, correct? Mind you, I think it will only be close because of the players you have out - been ravaged by injury.

Yeah, the optimist is hoping that this down period will have a positive effect long term. We were number one in the comp with goals set up from the back line last year (or so I've been told) so I'm hoping the onus changing onto the midfield will prove to be a long term baptism of fire.

Clutching at straws? Probably. As you can tell it's not much fun supporting the Lions at the moment. :p

Again, here's to a good injury free game.

I have a soft spot for the Tigers, you guys and North are by far the most bearable Melbourne clubs, but I'm sure you'll all forgive me if that soft spot goes missing for a weekend.

I've made the point that I'm hoping for you guys to get the win.

Just, having watched so many false dawns and seeing you guys lament them, it's frustrating seeing you get ahead of yourselves

I still dont know why you are saying we are getting ahead of ourselves. Tell us why brisbane will beat us

as a general rule i dont punt on richmond games but i broke that this year against port as the odds were too good...Brisbane are a shocking team atm so i might put a small amount on this week too, even at the gabba i would expect us to beat them

GOOD chance, GOOD odds, GOODbye Mr Melbourne supporter unless you're going to play nice :)

Pretty sure I saw RT post somewhere that Bris have only beaten us once since 04 and it was down here last year. That alone makes me want to splurge, and with no Brown... I'm not confident we'll win but I'm not saying no to good odds. Got lucky on the Port game, but have lost quite a bit on the Tiges this year. Didn't bet last week because the odds were too short... jumping on this week though!!! Shattered I'm working the other game so will have to watch the score updates on the tvs :( Go Tiges!

A cautionary tale tigers:

Ive missed watching 2 games this year -vs PtA and WCE
I fear I am the mozz, and I will be AT the GABBA watching our Tigers
(thought the same last year, but we lost the games I missed, too)

likely outcomes based on above paranoid delusion- reinvigorate Brisbane's season, Fev kicks 12, Lions sweep into the GF

maybee dont bet the house, just the car

But Ill still be having a wee flutter if odds hold - we have a good record vs Bris, who are missing their best player JBrown, we will beat them in the middle, at stoppages. We have scant chance of slowing Fev down so denying supply is the best way to win this - and stack on an unbeatable score at our end.

I dont think Jack will do so well - cant see him out-muscling Merrit like he did the 2nd & 3rd stringers WCE put on him, but if he can at least look dangerous to attract another defender, perhaps we can develop another avenue to goal, will be a VERY good lesson for our boys.

(and a speccie and couple-a-few goals for Jack for the highlights reel to go with pls)

Go Tiges!
