Think that may have been the one I read was limited for space compared to its competitors?

As far as I know the top radiator spot is the only space issue due to the cable management bar. Is that what you're referring to?

Narrowed it down to four options I think:

https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Cases/ATX/65164-BFC-ARA-300-KKWSK-RP - absolutely adore this, would need to add fans though which adds to the cost. Even then I'm not sure about cooling performance, would need to research further...

https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Cases/ATX/59271-CA-N450W-M1 - bit up there in price but looks fantastic.

https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Cases/ATX/67400-CA-1H8-00M1WN-01 - COLOURS!

https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Cases/ATX/65699-CA-S340W-B3 - think I prefer the other NZXT case but this one's definitely got its perks too.

Before I went with the S340 I was leaning towards this one:

Finally decided on the S340 because of the white interior.

Having serious trouble locating an AM4 bracket for that CPU cooler; all the usual suspects are sold out, and all of DeepCool's recommended retailers say they don't have it. May have to return it and buy a different one.
The AM4 retention bracket was a big issue back in April. I'd hedge my bets on it being resolved and your cooler having the correct stuff included even if the packaging does not specifically say so.
Obviously be careful with the retail packaging just incase you need to return it.

Fingers crossed you're right - although now I'm extremely tempted by this sexy piece of work: https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Cooling/CPU-Coolers-WATER/68654-RL-KRX62-02 :D

Would probably go the single one if I were to buy though: https://www.pccasegear.com/products/37477/nzxt-kraken-x42-140mm-aio-liquid-cpu-cooler

The NZXT software to control the pump is suppose to be pretty poop and generally more negative reviews of late. I wanted the X52 for the bling but I'll stick with the h100i v2 for piece of mind as more of a staple and much cheaper.
I was a bit concerned about the size of that one.

Which one? Those two are 240mm which should fit on the front of an S340. My preference is top mount though which is why I can't go that case. If you wanted to use an AIO as an exhaust in that case then it would be the X42 you linked or the H60. Personally I found single fan AIOs a little noisy under full load but that's just me and it's been about 5 years since I tried one so might be completely wrong by now :thumbsu:

My bad, I was looking at the older version which looks a lot thicker. I was planning on using the AIO as intake, FWIW.

I'm tossing up between the X62, X42, H100i and this one (although some reviews seem to complain about noise):

this case also has tempered glass but you're left with 5mm space after your GPU, and the design is kind of fruity, no top fan but offers side fans.

both the thermaltake view 31 and nzxt noctis 450 won't fit your gpu with a hdd cage (don't know if that's an issue for you). the nzxt you won't see your colorful radiator fans from the front and you're limited to single fans aside from the front. you won't see a front mounted color-fanned radiator in your bit fenix case from the front (maybe catch a sliver of it) but it will fit your gpu no problems, seem to have a few placement options with this case re: fans.
if you're more interested the light these fans cast onto the inside of your system, disregard what i've typed.

i have a fractal design define S case, which is the same price as your original. running fractal design kelvin s36 cooling. really did toy with color fans but i'm not going to get much of a direct look at them (radiator is top-mounted). i just run some led strips and i was changing color on the remote every day when i first got it but the novelty wore off.

all this stuff makes me wish i was buying another computer again

I'd pay the premium price for the looks of an In Win but their internals are too funky. Don't mind the 909 though.

My boss pretty much confirmed overtime up until Christmas today. Timing is perfect as I think I'm going to do something silly with it. Couldn't get any more info out of Scorptec about 8th gen and mobo release dates other than keep an eye on their site early next month. Can't wait because then I can get this build happening.
