Sling tackle on Neale.

Second time this year he will get suspended. Is it time to bring back the loading for repeat offenders?

Either way, this guy needs to sort his technique out. That style has been trouble for years now.

He couldn’t just drop the ball - the arm holding it was the arm pinned.

That same arm was also the one slammed into the turf - he could not possibly use his free arm to absorb the impact in any meaningful way, it was sky-side.

If you watch the replay, you will notice he does actually get his palm to the grass as his head hits the ground - but this is completely ineffectual in protecting him.

I agree that he should’ve gone off for a HIA - unfathomable given the current climate that it wasn’t required, when his head clearly slammed into the turf.

AFL website says he was taken off for assessment.

It was a bad tackle so in the current environment deserves a week.
