One thing that Goodwin's done really well is managing the younger players trying to break into the team, and showing confidence in them even when they've looked a little out of their depth. He hasn't thrown any of them to wolves as we used to do with top draft picks, but he also hasn't been afraid to select them when he thinks they're ready. If weid isn't in the team, then I imagine it's for a good reason, and I trust Goodwin's judgement. Pedo still offers the team more at this stage.
