Sad to see Gi treated like that but he is not the future, with kids coming up now I.e crozier in the backline hard to see muz in the team. As for Langdon not being accountable defensively surely the coaches would have spoken to him at qtr time.

Mzungu and Grey were the emergency's for the last 2 league games so RTB and the selectors must rate them both.
Reward for performance, but you would imagine that Grey and Langdon will be getting games before Mzungu, DeBoer and C Pearce for the rest of this year if a position opens up.

Brock Higgins was BoG by miles. Merritt tried hard but Hannath or Clarke play and Peel win.

The 50 against Deluca when he went spare was fair enough. But so was Delucas reaction. The South player Kelly grabbed Deluca around the neck and threw him to the ground. Free kick to Kelly. Players shouldn't have to accept that crap.
Merritt (Sauce ) could be a good late rookie draft pick for us . The kid has a fantastic tank and has nerves of steel considering it was his first league game .

They both make good travelling emergencies because they're a bit older & have big tanks, so the lack of game-time doesn't hurt them as much as it would our youngsters.

Anyone at the game know how bad Deboer's knee injury appeared. Was he stetchered off? I can't find anything yet from the club other than finishing the game with ice on his knee.

They said on the broadcast that he hobbled off, so no stretcher. And the ice was on the inside of his knee.

Peel had a promising ruckman a year or two ago who played a few league games called Kyle Westwood - anyone know what happened to him - other than perhaps needing a change of scene due to lack of opportunities because of the Fremantle rucks. I thought Merritt was easily beaten by Higgins but at the same time he did show a few signs, particularly in some of the marking contests.

Seriously Freo why bother with your pathetic report on how players went:

http://www.fremantlefc.com.au/news/2016-06-21/wafl-watch-rd-13-coachs-comments

I could have missed the game and read the paper the next day and given a more indepth review.

As it was, I saw most on the TV until I couldn't stand the corrupt umpiring anymore.

No mention of injuries, almost no mention of the absolute stunning game that Langdon played, I mean give us something!!!!

My favourite was Langdon's bit:
Played across half forward was very good working up toward the ball whilst also finishing with five goals

Just a side note, he kicked 5 goals. wtf?

Going to be a bit light on at Peel again this week. Luckily the flying emergency will probably be able to make it back in time for the game.

Likely Freo listed players:
- Mzungu
- Langdon
- Ibbotson
- C. Pearce
- Yarran
- Deluca
- Hurley

Did they even watch the game? I feel like they have a hat full of one sentence reports, and randomly allocate one to each player

Rofl - actually that's too true to be funny. They really are phoning it in, I admit.

If they continue in this vein I might take the liberty to rewrite a few, purely for the lutz.

Scratch out Mzungu due to injury. And Ibbo, Langdon and Clancee will all be traveling emergencies.
Peel are going to get pumped. :(
