Simpson was Simpson's fault, no on elses. Duffy wasn'y anything special, Moller isn't even playing the sport anymore. Meh.
So there is still hope for uebergang and nyhuis . uebergang won rising star and nyhuis come in second I think.

I am just worried that another potential player let go under ross that's all, we drafted him as defender and play him as forward for peel that's all.
Who cares what position he was drafted at? There are numerous players that become excellent AFL players at different positions than where they started or were drafted.

I still think Duffy got a raw deal after how well he did in his debut.

Came on and kicked two goals and got us back in the game against the Cats. Rewarded the following week with 10 minutes gametime in the 4th qtr, then dropped the following week.

its because he couldnt run out a game in the wafl, he played a half in the afl and looked spent and in his second game we were winning whilst the whole team was playing well against hawks, so hard to sub him on then, next week ballas came back so Duffy was the obvious out

Blakely only played 54% of the game this week. Same happened in Weller's first game, Langdon's, Grey's.

The only way they adjust to AFL gametime is by playing AFL games. Weller has upped his gametime by quite a bit already.

You want draft picks to regenerate ,you delist players. You lose the deadwood ,Duffy was deadwood, Simpson was his own worst enemy and Moller wanted to go play basketball. You're not serious are you Meima ,you're surely taking the piss.;)
Yah I am taking the piss, can't blame Ross, recruiter or bond directly we are bottom of the table so go back door.:) sometime reality is hard to take.

You take any 2 of the quality players like Sandi, Fyfe, Johnno, Bennell out with injury the side will struggle. For example take Nic Nat, the 2 best mids , and Mcgovern all the equivalent of our ommisions out of the Eagles line up and watch them go down the gurgler. We aren't playing well but having a couple of our stars back we would be going a little better.

Zac Clarke and Jack Hannath gave away 6 free kicks each against a team with one ruckman who I've never heard of? That is pathetic.
Those two are not breaking the door down to get a game in the seniors when we a crying out for another ruck man. Clark is so disappointing.

Looks like Luke Meadows might finally be delivering on his potential. I picked him as a smokey to be rookie listed two years ago, he obviously didn't and was very average last year so I'd given up on him. He'd be 24 now I think so not sure if he even harbours a desire to play at the top level but his stats are impressive in this game. The 6 x R50 standout with our current weakness in that area.

I was only there for the first half, but Clarke got monstered by the umps, they pulled free kicks against Clark on two occasions (on my side where I was closer then the ump) where the other ruckman (forget his name) initiated the holding and was the one holding, and paid it against Clark (multiple times)
