So pumped about Peel for 2017.
No complaints after last years glory but this year will see an influx of youth mixed with the leftover youth.
Got a feeling a few of the younger boys will really gel and get a decent season or two under the belt.
Keen to back them in for back to back glory !!

Say we go with a "conservative" best 22 for Freo in Round 1 of:

FB: Spurr - Dawson - Hamling
HB: Johnson - A Pearce - Weller
C: Hill - Fyfe - Hill
HF: Walters - McCarthy - Bennell
FF: Yarran - Taberner - Ballantyne
R: Sandilands - Mundy - Neale
I: Crozier, Sheridan, Blakely, D Pearce

This leaves our Peel team as something like:

FB: Grey - Collins - Sutcliffe
HB: Hughes - Logue - Ibbotson
C: Ryan - Balic - Deluca
HF: Cox - Kersten - Tucker
FF: Darcy - Apeness - Griffin
R: Clarke - Langdon - Suban
I: Nyhuis, Uebergang, Dumin, Strnadica

You'd imagine that injuries would give Peel guys like Bell, Ugle, Walsh and O'Brien a crack.

Great looking defense and midfield, but that forward line looks a bit top heavy. Clarke will probably play in the seniors anyway, so Griff would move into the leading ruck role, and Bell and/or Ugle would add to the small forward dimension.

Certainly shows where we're lacking depth though. I wouldn't want to be missing two of Ballas/Walters/Yarran to injury next season.

Bell , Calvin thorn , hura, ugle , t. Bennell , milward will be a few of the peel small coming in . don't think all freo peel players will be playing together at once with some playing reserve .

I think the only ones a chance of playing reserves are Duman, Strnadica and maybe Cox at a stretch. Nyhuis and Uebergang were consistently playing seniors for Peel last season. I think both Duman and Cox played seniors over east last season too.

Depend on what direction freo want to go , Clarke , Griff won't play that much with peel in 2017 . Griff will be gone 2018 , no point waste a spot to development young ruckmen. As for Clarke he is at the career that if he don't break into first team and give Sandi some time to rest he won't be around in 2018 too.

Peel get Jetta back as well after his Essendon related suspension. He's a handy player! I think Peel will have a decent blend again. At least most of the new talls can run and are mobile (unlike Hannath and Moller in years gone by). Is Rory Obrien gong around again?

I would think O'Brien will go again , with rumours on this board said that boostma going to play country league , I assume jetta will replace him then . in term of best 22 and not position .

Cox can slot straight into Bootsma's role
