Peel Thunder will know if they will be allowed to compete in the WAFL next season on Thursday at 10.45am when the hearing will be heard in court. While there has been concern at the divisions/factions that have been developing over a period of time, the club believes that the court will rule in thier favour. On confirmation, it is believed the club will immediately re-structure the management and then go about announcing a coach. Possabilities include: Bill Monaghan ( with possible support from Derek Hall ), Peter German, Darrell Panizza and recently deposed West Perth coach Andrew Lockyer who has made overtures to Peel about the position.

WOO HOO

Bloody pathetic how the other clubs are trying to kick them out. They represent the area I live, and though I don't support them, they should not be kicked out. I swear if they are kicked out I will never go to another South Fremantle game in my life, and hope the comp dies in the a$$

Is that likely?

I doubt either will back down until it is due to money constraints. The other 8 clubs badly want Peel gone (to get bigger slices of the already small resource-pie), and Peel is determined to stay in the league, I think as a simple matter of principle.

Federal Court goes to Full Court of the Federal Court, then to the High Court. Buck stops at the High Court.
