The judges and both counsel have struggled with this question. The reason is that their vision of the complainant is, unusually, exactly the same as the jury's.

More than I expected, really, as my view is most punters would not have it high on their interest list as much of the last couple of days has been about legal jousting. That sort of thing is of primary interest to folk like you and me and for quite different reasons I'd surmise.

The issue will get far more news prominence when the Court of Appeal releases it's decision.

Not wrong. 20 stories on the ABC News app. None involving Pell. Was wall to wall coverage when the news was adverse to him.

He may yet not get his conviction overturned but our unbiased taxpayer funded news outlet which has dedicated countless hours to ensuring public opinion is against Pell is suddenly silent when all who watched agree the Prosecution had a shocker.
