No. The two judges of the Court of Appeal who upheld the conviction know every bit as well as I do that he couldn't have committed the offence.

You can't say that.
None of the judges were saying anything about their opinions of guilt.
One judge said that the verdict was incorrect. The other two were fine with it. (Not the correct legal words but general point stands)
