I wasn't aware of all the witness evidence on Pell until after the conviction. I judge everything on its merits.

Pell was an unconverted rapist until a few months ago, despite a number of allegations swirling over him for years. Only one of the accusations has been substantiated.

His accusers never walked back their accusations, and neither has Shorten's. Where did you stand before Pell's conviction?

Pell also admitted to knowing about the pedo priests since the 70s.

Let alone his thoughts on gays and abortion.

Last I checked Shorten has been accused but not convicted of 1 charge. Which of true he should be locked away.

Do you support accused rapists?

While only accused its hard to know let’s see the evidence and the court verdict. If charged to stand trial they should step down from public positions (similar to the new NRL policy); if acquitted they get reinstated.

To be rich is to be virtuous, it's the story of modern faith. Your god of choice has bestowed wealth on you and the less fortunate have themselves to blame for it's lack of largesse. It's why Pell is still defended by some, and it's why Howard appointed Hollingsworth as GG. In America the faithful line up to praise an adulterer and rapist. As Steve Stills said when I saw him rock out the middle 8 of For What it's Worth, Jesus Christ was the first non violent revolutionary, I genuinely feel for those with real faith because it's been hijacked.

1. The Catholic Church operates far more institutions (particularly Primary schools).

The woman has gone from being free and not being able to be extradited to in jail and no appeals left. The Australian Jewish addas community want her back to face the courts.

This is a bit different from the Catholics who generally just ignore abuse.
