The bloody church can't even act as a moral authority for it's clergy. They have a don't rock the boat culture, they believe in perception and self interest nothing else.

By point is, that law may or may not moral.
Moral is too subjective.
Otherwise people could claim things to be moral that others find abhorrent (see my hypothetical about white supremacists)
And there is a process to influence the law.
As far as I know there no way to influence the RC church (substitute islam, or other religion of choice) because they go back to invoking their “divine authority “ bullshit.
 
She may be a very nice person but there's is a certain amount of discontent at her taking on a high profile appeal knowing she was off to Europe for 6 weeks.

It brings the industry into disrepute.

Hearing Justice Anne Ferguson speak about the victim - I can't imagine how brave that poor bloke must have been to take on the Catholic Church and one of its most senior members. Sounds like he did an incredible job in his testimony.
