Why does that matter? He broke the rules so should face the same consequences as everyone else.

An 18 year old gets a week or 2 for that 10 times out of 10.
Maybe they should cite their Year 2 school results to show they were an exemplary student who never got disciplined.

That should work.

I know I can’t post without bias…

But if you run at a player who’s standing still, they brace for impact and you get knocked out is the said player receiving weeks? I actually don’t know what Pendles was suppose to do?

I agree with this and personally I don’t think it should be anything. But the it’s a football action has not stood up for years now as a defence.
Many just stick standard football actions have been handed down as suspensions because someone got injured.
Maybe a fine is the right outcome?? But the football act defence just simply has no place anymore in today’s game.

Totally agree. I don't even think it's worth a fine. If you watch it at real speed he just braces to protect himself. There's going to be accidents, and players shouldn't automatically be found guilty everything there's a head clash.

But they have been and will be again this year.

So Pendlebury does the same bump again next week, does the 428 games without being suspended (the tribunals exact words) count as exceptional circumstances…. again?

Given he wasn’t suspended this time.

A couple of points, thats a bump, the crow ran in an intersecting path, so its a joke he was reported. There's dozens of bumps a game.

That said they are reporting blokes for nothing these days, if it was legitimately reportable they should suspend him, and all the others each week.

In about 3 weeks there will be insufficient players available to field sides, and Dillon can pay himself a bonus for eliminating 100% of concussions.

I expect it would be like applying for a warning from Vicpol for low range speeding when you haven't offended in the previous 2 years. You only get to do it once.

Cannot believe there are people here upset he didn't get suspended. 400+ games with an exemplary disciplinary record should mean something and should carry a one time benefit of the doubt leniency.

Happy he's not rubbed out for that.
