As always barrackers you provide great historical perspective posts.Joins a rare and illustrious group in the history of our club. Very fitting that he follows Swan into the CFC 250 game club.

Well sometimes things just don't happen.Agreed but usually you'd expect game threads to generate posts and interest or they're just clogging up the board
From memory, he tore Geelong up in his 100th (prelim final I think) handed Carlton their own ass in his 150th (Mick's first game coaching against us) and decimated Gold Coast in his 200th (poetry in slow motion). Watch out Hawthorn.
Nice to know i'm not alone in thinking thisStill think the dreadlocks were his best look.
Out of curiosity Redman, who's your favourite. From a scrawny looking teen to my 2nd favourite Pie, he's done well for your side.
It has come around quickly I agree.
Hope he plays a ripper without thinking of bringing back the dreadies.
P.s. his teammate Sidebottom's 24 games short of 200 games.
Out of curiosity Redman, who's your favourite.
His 200th game was huge. Started up forward, kicked 2 goals in the first quarter to basically seal the game at that early stage. Had 35, 7 marks, kicked 3 and had 4 goal assists.
I've said it before and ı'll say it again. Pendles is unique. Was so great to be up at Carrara for that game. Wasn't going to go until I worked out it was going to be his 200th. Glad I don't have to travel for his 250th.
I said a couple of years ago that I had made a pact with myself to especially appreciate and enjoy every game that Pendles plays. Because one day he's not going to be there anymore, and god knows how long it will take for us to find another player as good as him.
He's in the top 5 players I've seen at Collingwood, and I'm approaching 40 at a far faster speed than I'm comfortable with. I've never seen anyone as good at finding time and eluding trouble, he rarely wastes the ball and he's the smoothest mover ever. All round class act.
