I think the main issue is that we were still a mathematical chance to make finals but clearly we went in with the mindset the year was over.

Pendles is our ONLY consistent performer and gives his all, that's not in question.

But conceding we were finished when you never know what can happen in this crazy game isn't the message you want your fans receiving.

It's embarrassing the way some of our supporters have treated Pendles. Don't forget this bloke is the ultimate professional who has been unbelievable in his durability during his career. He bleeds black and white, he is even renegotiating his contract so that we have the cash now to be able to go after Aish and Treloar. I for one will not hang him for a misinterpretation
