Defence seems weak on the outside and we've lost a lot of depth players.

Koroisau is the most promising signing out of the few new recruits and could prove damaging.

problems still remain with a lack of solid gameplan inside 5 metres, the team just looked completely lost against parra and was eerily reminiscent of the bulldogs prelim.

the overpaid brick: jamal idris is still too fat and slow to be really damaging, this is the guy we should be looking at to make those hard metres crash over the top and score. but forget being held up in goal he can't even push over the line.

taking it all into account, too many punters are placing the mountain men way too high. we face a tougher draw and cannot afford a repeat of the injury toll we had last season. we'd need an absolute golden run to make finals let alone push deep.

Nothing against Penrith, but it amazes me that somebody can sign for the 2016 season 4 days out from the start of the 2015 season

Soward Slain for Six weeks.
the depth testing begins early this year as Jamie Soward has gone in for back surgery, prognoses is 4-6 weeks. a heavy blow espically has we come up to our first real test this year as you take on the chicken heads at the SFS.

The Manbeast Mansour's Magnificent return!:D
ankle injury all sorted, the Australian winger is set to return to the squad which in the one area we have great depth not being able to fit the young jennings and mansour into the same squad is a problem everyone but a superteam coach would love to have.

Naming of Isaac! ;)
Isaac John comes in to fill Sowards roll in the halves, having suffered his own injury run last year, the lads been tearing it up in first 2 rounds NSW cup. A big burden to place on on the 26 year as he steps into Sowards boots, His contract is up this season so he'll be looking to play out of those boots if we wants a chance to shine and be seen as anything but a depth player.
no link because sports journalist are numpties.

i like watching you guys. You play entertaining attacking footy, and you look to have a bit of a star in the lad Cartwright. Can you keep hold of him?
