Or..... you could do what we did with FR and Nessy and go out and actively recruit them and not sit on your ass and wait for people to come to you?

As for Stats and BL. I didn't even know they played in this comp when they were recruited from another site.
I've tried, Ljp has tried, P4L has tried and no doubt the one or two other active posters have tried. But given the huge number your mob have, every time I, or any of the others, come online, they've already been snapped up. The more posters you have, the more posters you'll get.
Cormick, if you're so worried about teams folding, it's simple for two folding team (which you say could be Dragons and Demons) to just join forces.

Personally, lately I've been addicted to TAE, and only visit BigFooty for it's highly active 'Footy Fotoshops' forum (which actually got me into SFA as a Dragons player posted in that forum that there was looking for a new jumper design).

When I first posted my jumper design I headed down here trying to get attention (yes I'm an attention seeker, I make jumper designs and get extremely disappointed when no-one comments my work). Soon after they accepted my design, I become interested in SFA itself.

That was 16 months ago, 16 months on I was being struck in the backline having first played forward. So I moved the Hawks wanting to play forward again or even midfield. The article said it was the finals bomb-out, by that is way more interesting then just leaving because I wanted to be a forward again.
I'm not worried, cos' I have the Furies as a "fall back" option (sorry Furies, you're much more than that, and I love you to pieces :D), but for the rest of the Shagons. So we merge. Then what? The mod squad will be gone, the Demons will be gone and the Shagons will be gone, replaced by an Uber-team, Mount Buller Dragons or Southern Demons or whatever it would be. Would still diminish the competition a fair bit, three teams for one.

As for the second bit; your design was really really good. Amazing. Superlative. Fantastic. Words cannot describe just how good it was. Wanna come back to the Shagons? :p

Cormick, go after some posters that are not involved in the SFA.
Exactly. That's how the ESH were built up when I was captain, recruiting from outside the SFA. Seriously cannot believe people are getting annoyed at the way the Hawks are recruiting. It's the way the competition has worked since it began.

Why would Mod Squad be leaving?? And maybe a merger would be a bad idea, but why waste two prefectly good teams due to a supposed lack of posters!

Nah, I'll be always part of Dragons as long as that design is present :p

Not annoyed at it, I'm more worried that as one team gets bigger and another smaller, that former will continue to grow and the latter continue to shrink. As the quote goes, the rich stay healthy, the sick stay poor.

As for me not playing there, even if ya's tried, it wouldn't be anything against individual posters. I just don't like the teams. Like I don't like Carlton or Collingwood, and like many posters wouldn't go to the Demons.

Cormick read what I said. Then come back and talk to me.
Still not following.

I think, but someone correct me if I'm wrong, the mod squad will be disbanded due to lack of posters?

Or you could have PM'd and told me you wanted to go forward.

If they want to go let them go. At the end of the day, all I want is 19 other blokes around me who want to bleed for the Dragons and do everything in their power to try and get us a premiership. Its that simple. If you're arent on board, get the hell away from the train.

Cry us a river.

The Demons were handed to your mob in more than satisfactory shape. The fact that you're more incompetent, collectively, at running a club than Fev is at staying out of trouble after a few drinks is your own fault.

Stop crying and toughen the **** up. If players want to play back pocket at a "big" club, let them and stop playing the victim.

Why would I be crying a river? All I said was that it was a good post, which I believe it was. The Demons are in fine shape, and will not fold.
