Not sure how many played it orignally, but it was One of rares top franchises that will finally see the light of day again. Hopefully on PC too. It built what Goldeneye started, with a highly customisable A.I bot and 4 player multiplayer and tough campaign. it was it came out very late on the N64 so some people may not be aware of it as much but still sold a few million. We also pretend Zero doesn’t exist.

The original is one of my favourite games of all time so I'm pretty bloody excited that the franchise is back.

Sounds like they have some cool ideas for it. I'd love to see a combination of Deus Ex style game play with solid FPS mechanics and all the gadgets and tech (please bring back the laptop gun).

The single player didn't grip me but multiplayer was just as good as GoldenEye

Briefcase gun is the single best gun in gaming

It's depressing how PDZ basically killed the franchise before it began. This is definitely a wait and see for me.

Rare\Microsoft basically killed Conker (over censored remake), Perfect Dark (Zero) and Banjo (nuts and bolts) all in the space of a few years. Crazy to think.

But from what we can see so far, I have faith in Initiative and Crystal Dynamics.

Rare under Microsoft just wasn't Rare anymore.

Nuts and Bolts was a great game though.

Sea of Thieves is amazing so I’m not complaining.

Still yet to try that - as someone of an age where getting a group of friends together to play a game takes months of planning, I don't know if there is enough there as a single player only experience... At least that seemed to be the case in the early days, maybe it's better now?

Definitely a hell of a lot better now for a solo. Still doesn’t compare with having a crew though.
