Yes, our 1995 B&F winner is still going strong. :D

And still kicking hospital balls one would imagine.

Wonder what the injury list for being felled from behind is like at Subiaco!!! :D

I dunno, he would have set the Birdman up beautifully for a few species.

Our first rd pick is basically an early 2nd rd pick because so many teams will have two picks in the first rd, so our first rd pick will be around the 18-20 mark.

I'd do a trade with both the WA sides

Pick 20 & Doughty for Trent Croad and 3rd rd pick ( We take on say 75% of his contract)

Then trade fringe player and mid draft pick to WCE for Q.Lynch

If we could get those two we wont have any key position problems, we will have Trent and Kenny down back and Lynch and Stevens up forward. Lynch can also play ruck and has a booming kick. Hasnt played at all this season so maybe we can get him cheap.

Put Trent under Careys wing for a few years and we are going to have a fine player. Remember Trent's been thrown around ever since hes been in the AFL, im sure if hes settled down into a veteran line up he will be a sensational recruit.

Actually Carmelo, there are effectively only two extra picks. The Bulldogs, Carlton and Melbourne have a priority pick but Carlton miss out on the first round.

We will have pick 18. :D

Amusingly the lowest finishing team without a priority pick is Richmond, and they had already forfeited the extra pick by round 8!

I can't see West Coast trading Lynch or any KPP. Their focus will now be on developing a spine. Once they have that settled, the Eagles are a premiership contender. And they're hardly going to want a third rate midfielder either.

The only players I would be interested in from Eagles are: Seaby, Johnson and Lynch.

BTW guys if we lose tommorrow our pick will be either 13 or 14 depending on how Essendon goes againt Port;)

One step at the time;)

I say we build a time machine and bring back Laurence Angwin (if he doesn't steal it on the way to 2003), David Gallagher, Ryan Fitzgerald and Andrew Eccles when they had bags of potential and offer them up for Michael Gardiner and Chris Judd from the same era :D

I can see the headline now:

James Fantasia on the p|ss as Adelaide trades away the hottest talent in Australia for wasted potential and a 15 year old Victorian... 'Kris Chud' or something...

Hey, I liked Fitzy :(

And we got Massie for Eccels :D

The rest can bugger off.

Do you think that if we had Croad to play tonight he would have gone as bad as Perrie did??

Perrie has the smallest dose of the footy smarts I've seen in a player for a long time. His performance tonight illustrated that in lumps.

We must trade him while he has some value.

Croad for Perrie - that would do me!!

Perrie isn't a natural defender, so not really a fair comparison.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing that it may be time to trade Perrie whilst his value is high, but I just don't want Croad.

Before deciding whether Perrie should go, consider these points

(1) Perrie was played out of position
(2) He was also played on one of the best full-forwards in the country
(3) He was left there although he was plainly a fish out of water
(4) The difference between playing Perrie and, say Hart or Bassett would probably not have counted for much
(5) He has played plenty of good games this year
(6) What can Croad bring?

Maybe Croad could be a defensive player but he is definitely not the player who kicked 6 goals in a top performance against the Power once.

Far too logical for a Port supporter commenting on the Crows...;)
