Whats probably happened is, Kangaroos have offered Perry a 1 year deal. Perry then has decided he will try his luck elsewhere in getting a 2 year deal ,and therefore the two parties have split. Then he was 'delisted' in a reluctant Ackland fashion.

Hope the Hawks get him.

Well the similarities I can see are that both were young defenders who left the club under controversial circumstances, and with huge outcry about how we were making a shocking mistake by getting rid of them.

Both were about the same age when they left.

We will have to wait for a couple of years to see if the similarities end there.

OK - is this a rumour or fact? It is surprising that there is notyhing in the media at all yet. If it is a rumour there has been one hell of an over-reaction here.

If it is fact, there has to be good reason for it. We all might like to pot Laidley and the coaching staff from time to time, but I would find it difficult to believe that if Perry was to be the star posters here believe him to be that Dean would allow him to be delisted.
