Wow there is some crap spewing forth again. We need this, bomber coached shithouse that, blah blah yadda yadda.

We LOST that game. Okay yes the Hawks won by taking their chances but lets think about what just happened. We just kicked for goal and over possessed, any other day we kick 23-11 and win.

• We couldnt have gone any harder.
• We couldnt have won any more contested ball.
• We couldnt have tackled and pressured better.
• Our matchups where fine, we had some positional losses but not often do you win 22 positions. We won the places that should have mattered.
• We didnt take our eyes of the ball and didnt dive and carry on.

We just didnt kick straight and used the ball poorly inside 50 and struggled against what was a massive massive flood.

With players like Egan, Wojac, Prismall and Tommohawk still putting pressure on for first 22 spots we should be in the posistion to give it ago again next year.

It is dissapointing that we choose today to play such a bad game but I cant fault the boys endevour at all. Besides Vercoe and Lonergan who were soundly beaten all day and didnt cope at all with the physicallity of the game, our players where tougher at the man and the ball.

Shit happens.

twice in my life i have seen a garry ablett do amazing things against the hawks in a gf and we lose

that the guys did not do enough in the game that matters

and as for this depth, given wojo is rumoured to be seeking a trade, prismall def is (and could potentially screw the club via the preseason draft - good blokes do that), lonergan may be retiring, nathan has gone awol, tenance has not worked out, we will not have the same depth in 09
